Field Trip?

I had to wake up at 5 am this morning because Charlie and I were going to go on a field trip for our Nursing class. Guess where? A hospital! Lol. So my parents couldn’t see my piercing. hehehe.

I went to the hospital with Charlie. At first we ended up going to the wrong place. A rather small building which we thought was the hospital that our teacher worked at. We just thought, “Wow. This is a hospital?” haha. Luckily, as we were walking towards Carl’s Jr. we saw the actual hospital. The place we parked at turned out to be a dentist office by the same name as the hospital we were looking for.

After eating breakfast, we drove to the hospital and another problem arose. We had no idea where we were supposed to meet our teacher. We called Keisha and she didn’t know either. There were about 5 large buildings total. At first we were waiting at the main entrance but no one else was there so we walked around in search for our teacher’s building. We paged her over and over again in hopes that she would come downstairs or go outside and we would find her. I don’t get why she can’t just have a cell phone. *sighs*

Charlie ended up walking around outside and he found the place. We didn’t know that there would be so many students. There were about 30 students total.

The day before, I told Keisha that I got something and that she had to wait until today to see what it was. When we saw her, I just talked to her normally until she noticed. When she saw it, the paused, looked at me for a while, and said “So THAT’S what you got!” haha.
I must say that the experience was exhilarating! Walking through the smelly halls of the hospital! Looking at sickly people and sickly people looking back at us. Watching people sleep, looking at premature babies and stuff. It was pretty cool. We also went into the intensive care area and the emergency room.

Yep yep. That was our field trip. :P

The cool looking entrance of the hospital.
