Memorial Day Weekend

Friday- Hung out @ jess's house. played sims(so addicting).

Saturday- jess & i were supposed to go to the Kevin De Leon campaign thingy. so we went to downtown but we got lost so many times along the way. we were driving around for more than an hour until we found the building. we went in and the guy told us it was on the 3rd floor. so we went and NO ONE was there! turns out that Adam(campaign guy) sent a second email which jess didn't open. so we decided to go on sunday. we went back to jess's house, called up ivah, and went to city walk. the L.A. sparks were there. ivah wanted to take a pic with them or something but then we saw the long ass line that was waiting so we watched the da vinci code. at this one part that creepy guy popped out and attacked Tom Hanks and first Ivah screamed, then jess, then me. then everyone around us got scared too. Some ppl saying "ay that scared me!" lol. then after that we ate at jodie's or something (ivah thought it was called jillians and that they closed it down) we went shopping & i got a jacket from A&F orig price was $60 and i got it for $20. nothing was wrong with it or anything. jess got a shirt for jean and ivah got a shirt and a bag. jess wanted to buy jean these really nice shoes but she didn't have enough money ($85). then ivah wanted to run through that water thingy. so we all started walking through but jess left me and ivah. i was walking really slow so yeah we got wet. my pants got soaked and lucky for ivah she was wearing shorts. grrr. after that we ran to where ivah's dad was gonna pick us up, trying to fit through the crowds of people. my legs started to freeze cuz of the water. then we went home.

Sunday- went to the kevin de leon campaign thingy. jess & i had to greet the ppl and ask "oh hi are you a volunteer? can you sign up?" blah blah blah. plus we were out in the sun and it was hot. there was this guy that hung out with us. he was nice, funny. then the mayor came w/de leon and they made their speeches n stuff. some ppl were being rude, talking, letting their phones go off. so then the mayor got kinda ticked cuz he had to say "SHHH! thank you" so yeah. then we saw liberty there and we went walking house to house. 30 attempts and NO ONE was home. we felt pretty useless. but jake still said we did a good job. we thought jake's name was steven cuz that's what mr. beaty said. but it turned out that his name is jake stevens so that was pretty stupid of us. also there were these other guys that were there got like 36 ppl! rawr! so when we told our driver that we got 0 people when he picked us up he said "ok get out. i'll pick you up later" we were about to leave but then we realized he was kidding. :P not nice. so yeah. that was it. then we went home. my mom and dad came back from china town and my mom bought the bootleg x3. haha. the stupid shit was so crappy. i couldn't really enjoy the movie with this guy's head right smack in the middle of the screen and with the camera tilting and showing only half of the damn screen and i could barely make out what was happening and also with those wierd subtitles at the bottom. also i noticed that a shitload of scenes were just cut out completely. so yeah. of course i didn't like the movie cuz the quality of it all was so damn crappy. i still didn't start any of my homework and i need to practice tennis cuz tryouts are on tuesday and those campaign people want us to come back.

Oh yeah. When my parents came back from china town my dad brought down these dvds he borrowed and started watching them. Earlier that day I saw those dvds on top of the tv and one was this steven sagal movie and the other one was the hottest women in the world and it said all nude and all that nasty shit. So as I walked to my room I heard the music, you know that weird dancy music and I knew he was watching that nasty shit. So I was too scared to go downstairs to use the computer for fear that I would have to witness my fathers manly desires with my own eyes. NO thank you! I wouldnt want to be scarred for life.

Monday- wondering if theres a family party. Not likely. I havent been to any of the parties lately unfortunately. I miss going to them. makes me sad. I hate school.

Well yeahs. Still have to do my shitload of hw so farewell and happy memorial day!

032806 HAPPY BIRTHDAY

well the first half of my day was kinda bad I guess..

it all started at night
it started raining. I didn't study for history and I didn't finish my physio notes. I was fixing my bed and there was this huge cockroach. I screamed and I grabbed a paper to kill it but I panicked and it fell on the floor. I tried to kill it but it crawled under the bed. The rest of the night I was paranoid. I cleaned out under my bed.. no cockroach so then I started talking this weird shit "ok just don't bite me. I don't taste good. I promise. Please just leave. Just go in the trash can ok?" I dunno WHAT I was thinking. So then I worked on physio until 2 am. Then I went to sleep, still paranoid of that damn cockroach.

Now here's pluses and negatives
minus- woke up late
plus- mom came into my room, kissed my forehead, and told me "happy birthday, I hope you enjoy your day"
plus- sandy hugged me and gave me a box
minus- sandy said "I'm cheap cuz I bought you so many things on Christmas and you didn't get me anything" then I said "I know and I feel horrible"
minus- dad woke up late
minus- my breakfast was a PB&J sandwich from the morning before
minus- dad didn't say happy birthday. Just nothing
minus- lockdown. Stuck in watt's room for HOW LONG!?
plus-nutrition friends got me a cake!
minus- studied the whole time but there were so many distractions.
minus- didn't get to eat
plus-anty ran in and gave me flowers & a hug
minus- history- major cramps. Dying
plus-didn't take the unit 5 test
minus- probably failed my physio test
minus- I'm just lost in comp sci
minus- beginning of lunch, I sat there alone eating my cake alone
plus-friends came, gave me flowers, took some pics, ate some cake
plus-no one tried to cake me (I think jess tried to)
BIG minus- jess tried to sing happy birthday... just sounded horrible! lol.
plus- it was a p.d. day

funny thing. Anty saw me during lunch w/the flowers & balloons from my friends and screamed "NO WAY!" lol. she's just jealous that my friends got me better flowers. lol. jk.

Then some chick came up to us when we were eating cake and said "so.. you wanna share?" then I said "no sorry." Then she said "that's sad" how's that sad? She was just intruding and she expects to get some cake?

anelyn wanted to get me black & orange balloons and orange and black flowers! what kind of freak is she!? since when did i like orange? and it ain't halloween girl. would've been cool if they had black flowers though...

I also got my new glasses today. Feels weird cuz I see pink because of the frame.

well it was my birthday weekend. saturday... did nothing...

sunday we went to gourmet 88 in burbank and watched inside man at that huge AMC.

i loved the movie. it was funny & clever.

there was this one part when they send out a hostage who had his arms tied and some box tied around his neck. then the cops were like "get down! pur your hands on your head!" then they took the mask off the hostage and one of the cops went "OH SHIT HE'S ARAB! IT'S A BOMB!" then they just jump the poor guy. it was hilarious but so sad.

another funny part was when clive was talking to the kid who had his PSP and he was playing get rich or die trying and clive started to play it. then in the game he started shooting some black guy over and over. then the guy fell and he started shooting the guy in the head and then on the top it said "KILL THAT NIGGA" then he put a grenade in the guys mouth and it blew up. then clive was like "what's the meaning of this thing" then the kid thought it was all cool and stuff. then clive said "i'm gonna have to talk to your father about this game"... it was just funny seeing the game being played. blaaah!

whatever... i loved it. but my dad was sleeping at some points. :P
